I think I'm half Elf

I got to help with our church's Angel Tree program.

We had all the packages in my living room. There were probably 60.

We organized them for the families.

Then divided them up and sent them with different drivers to deliver them.

I felt so much like an elf that I went to the mirror to make sure I hadn't turned green.

Christmas is awesome.

Imagination Information

Welcome to my first blog.

If you're reading this, you're probably my mom or a friend who owes me money and I said that you wouldn't have to pay me back if you went to my website and became a fan.

If you found your way here anyway, that must mean you like books for kids.

Here's a little bit about the The Imagination Station books series.
In 2009 Focus on the Family let me develop a book series for kids called The Imagination Station. It's for second graders, mostly. But I like the books, and so does my mom. She's in her 80s, and she may like the books because she's going through her second childhood. Or she may like them just because they're full of information about Vikings, reindeer, tigers, and Roman soldiers. You never get too old for that.

If you recognize the name The Imagination Station, it's because The Imagination Station has been part of Adventures in Odyssey, a radio drama, that's been producing the shows for about 25 years.

Paul McCusker, a prolific writer and Adventures in Odyssey guru type, came up with the idea for the book series. But he's really busy and so I get to write some of the books.

Right now, there are two books in the series available for purchase at this website. The third book is called Peril in the Palace, and you can see pictures of the cover on Amazon.com or ChristianBookstore.com.

But I've got a secret. The book isn't done. I still have to turn it over to Paul so he can make it more exciting by adding more sword fights or evil villains with bad breath or something.

Maybe I'll be in Peril if I don't quit my blog and get writing on that story. Right now, Patrick and Beth are visiting China with Marco Polo. They have to get out of the palace and get back to the Imagination Station and back to Odyssey or else.

Or else what?

Come back next week and find out.

(Bye Mom, I love you!)
